Look at what a storytime kid (and her mother…mostly her mother, probably) made for me!
It’s a milk gallon snowman who lights up and everything! Gosh, I love my storytime kids! (Also, I was tempted to say, “Someone’s been on Pinterest!” when I saw it, but I didn’t.)
In other storytime news, we had some roller derby girls come into storytime to skate and read for us today. Since I got a break from reading, I was able to sit on the storytime carpet and model good listening to the kids. And the kids were pretty good about listening and being respectful too! Now let’s hope that tomorrow’s group is just as good for the derby girls. 😉
